MASSACHUSETTS WING MOURNS THE LOSS OF PAST WING COMMANDER:

It was recently announced of the passing of our friend and former Commander, Colonel William H. Meskill, former Massachusetts Wing Commander (2009 - 2013)
Colonel Meskill joined Civil Air Patrol in June 1985, while assigned to Massachusetts Wing as the USAF Reserve Assistance Coordinator. While in the USAFR he served as a Squadron Liaison Officer, Wing Reserve Assistance Coordinator, and Acting Wing Liaison Officer.
A 26-year USAF officer Colonel Meskill served in North American Aerospace Defense Command, Tactical Air Command, Alaskan Air Command, and Air Force Systems Command. 
His Military and Civil Air Patrol Awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, USAF Commendation Medal, USAF Meritorious Service Medal, the Civil Air Patrol Gill Robb Wilson award, Brig Gen Charles E "Chuck" Yeager Aerospace Achievement award and the Wing Staff Member of the Year Award.
