Mr. Weenis Evans Surratt, 80 of Galax, VA passed away Monday, March 14, 2022 at his home. He was born in Carroll County, VA on August 28, 1941 to the late Dalton and Clara Richardson Dillard. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Glenn "Bunkie" Richardson.
He is survived by his son, David Woolard and wife, Cynthia of Winterville, NC; step daughter, Shannon Brown-Dean of Charlotte, NC; niece, Pamela Huff and husband, Mike of Galax, VA; great niece, Jessica Anders and husband, Phillip of Galax, VA; great great nephews, Isaac Anders and Tyler Anders.
