Six color guards seemed like a lot, but when I saw the pictures, it looked awesome.

Not that many when you spread them out over a baseball field, and surround them with a massive baseball stadium

Awesome to see all the color guards on the field, and we won the game to boot!

It is indeed awesome!  Shame the game didn't matter, though, since my Cubs won the division.   ;D

Don't worry about the Brewers folks. At least they aren't doing what the Indians are gonna do to us here in Cleveland. And I mean go to the playoffs, and lose miserably.

next year... next year...

You know, I think that if the Cubbies go all the way -- to the Series -- it'll be enough to keep their fans happy for a long time to come.  The Cubs don't even have to win the Series.  All they have to do is get there, and people like me will be deliriously happy.

Now, if they do win the Series ... Hell will start to freeze over, I guess.

I believe they are. My unit had them when I was a cadet. No one wanted to wear them because everyone thought they looked stupid. Thankfully, I wasn't in color guard, so I never had to make that choice.

Hell, MI is about halfway between Lansing and Ann arbor, and is most assuredly in southern Michigan.

Hey look!  We started a trend!

Are those helmets authorized?

It's Minnesota Wing, they march to the beat of a different drummer (literally).
"And Saint Attila raised the Holy Hand Grenade up on high saying, "Oh Lord, Bless us this Holy Hand Grenade, and with it smash our enemies to tiny bits. And the Lord did grin, and the people did feast upon the lambs, and stoats, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and lima bean-"

" Skip a bit, brother."

"And then the Lord spake, saying: "First, shalt thou take out the holy pin. Then shalt thou count to three. No more, no less. "Three" shall be the number of the counting, and the number of the counting shall be three. "Four" shalt thou not count, and neither count thou two, execpting that thou then goest on to three. Five is RIGHT OUT. Once the number three, being the third number be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade to-wards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuffit. Amen."

I do not believe so.  I don't see them mentioned in 39-1.  And they look horrible.  Can't someone just donate a few service caps to them?
