Does anyone know where in regs it tells you about squadron T-Shirts. I remember a while back about the squadron patch being on front and you can design the back didn't know if this was still true?

I looked in CAPM39-1 and can't seem to find it I thought it was in there. I just can't seem to find it.

Presumably you are referring to the shirt worn with BDUs.

Quote from: Table 2-3 (pp. 63)
Brown or black. Either V-neck, U-neck, crew neck or athletic style
without pockets. Black or brown turtlenecks, dickeys, or thermal
undershirts without pockets may also be worn. EXCEPTION:
members may wear white thermal undershirts even if exposed at neck.
Unit commanders may prescribe color, unit designation, and cloth or
silk screen emblem, to be worn on left side of chest not to exceed 5
inches in diameter.

Note: This has not been changed in the draft 39-1, except for the issue with one part of the regs citing brown or black and another citing only black.

Basically, your unit commander can authorize squadron shirts with a logo over on the left chest

Biggest violation is putting names or words on the back like "Staff".  Don't do this!

What do you put on the back of the squadron T-shirt just trying to get ideas here. Thanks.

Nothing is authorized on the back.

The part where, "Unit commanders may prescribe color" confuses me. Do they prescribe the color of the t-shirt (allowing something other than black/brown) or just the logo?

Just the logo, the color is prescribed as black or brown with brown soon going down :)

Depends on which section of the draft 39-1 you believe.  One says both, the other only says black.
