I was wondering where to get one of these patches for the BDU?

Stonewall

Serving since 1987.

yeahididthat

Because a My squadron commander asked me to look for one.

I am also my squadrons cadet logistics officer, we have a cadet who was just recently inducted into the Cadet Honor Society. It is my task to find one, I looked on Vanguard and I turned up empty handed, so I turned to the one place to go when that fails.

Eclipse

Odds are you have to get it from wing - one would think he'd get one when he's inducted.
Pehaps this email as listed on the FLWGCHS site?
Might as well ask about the cord while you're at it.

One also presupposes that the FLWG Supplement to 39-1 allows for its wear, though that wasn't really the question. Left pocket?

My reading of the regs was: Only the shoulder cord is allowed...

Besides, can't wing commanders only authorize shoulder cords?

Edit: On the page:
QuoteCadets that earn this honor, will be eligible to wear a blue/yellow shoulder cord when certification has been completed by wing cadet programs.

Umm, yeah, there isn't one.  If anything, could always ask the wing DCP to confirm.

Alright, I swear that I vaguely remember a patch that you could wear on your BDU's.

Extremepredjudice

Nope. The wing commander couldn't authorize it, even if he wanted to.

I don't believe a patch was ever made.

What is posted above is merely a logo design, not a patch. The shoulder cord is the only uniform item to my knowledge.

Formerly, I was Group/CP and we had tons of Cadet Honor Society members, not once was there ever a patch involved. Contact FLWG/DCP as she would be the one who would know 100% one way or the other.

Why couldn't he?

that explains it, so it is strictly a FLWG thing?

It's not just strictly a FLWG thang, it's strictly a FLWG cool kid thang.

However you welcome to bring the idea up through your chain of command and CAC to have it implemented in your wing.
