New CAP-USAF Vice Commander

Looks like Colonel Jerry (Jay) Updegraff has been appointed as the new Vice Commander, CAP-USAF.   No biographical data has been posted to the CAP-USAF website yet.

As one knows Colonel Paul D. Gloyd II who was vice commander, became commander last September (2011) after the sudden undisclosed reason of a change of command after the former commander only served about 3 months in the position.

Hopefully now with a full staffing at the CAP-USAF Hq command level the challenges faced with reorganization due to downsizing will be more easily planned for.
