"The objective of the deployment in Port au Prince was the surveying of the rebuilding after the earthquake as well as the study of various multiple sensitive points in the city's continuing restoration. Expert analysis was used to identify debris hazards, new construction, water drainage capabilities, and temporary housing. UNOSAT expert Josh Lyons who directed the mission and personally controlled the UAV declared that the results were "incredibly satisfying". He noted: "the UAV was flown in the four sites assigned to us with generally outstanding results, providing International Organization for Migration (IOM) with areal imagery of an unprecedented spatial resolution right there during the deployment".
