So, it's my first year as a cadet, and I'll attending the Joint Dakota Encampment. Does anyone have any tips for being a student?

Talk to those who have attended before

It only lasts 1 week, take it one day of the time First days are hectic with a lot of stress. It gets easier  every day.

Encampment is actually 8 days, make sure to pack a book or something to do during PPT, talk to cadets who have gone before, study memory work.

Depends on which encampment you attend when it comes to the number of days.
