Title: Combat Control Orientation Course
Post by: Kayll'b on August 10, 2020, 05:57:41 AM
so apparently there used to be an NCSA called combat control orientation course, where cadets were trained to use M4s. Does anybody know anything about this (or if it would ever come back)?

Do a search on here for "Combat Control Orientation Course", and you'll probably get as much knowledge that exists today.

An olde article. (https://www.pope.af.mil/News/Article-Display/Article/242113/cadets-live-the-life-of-a-combat-controller/)

Google also has many hits.

There was also a Security Forces orientation course too, I think.

It ended due to the budget sequestration years ago.

The Lt Col who set it up did a virtual class for our cadets last month on another subject and I had been talking to him about this.
