I'm heading out Monday for a week of BSA Wood Badge training. From what I've heard WB is great leadership training for all areas of life. When I get back I'll post some impressions about what I've learned and how we can apply this to CAP leadership.

Do you know what your tickets are yet?

He hasn't even left for WB yet....

Let's give him some illusions of extra time for a couple of more days... >:D

I took the course back in 1964 (and that's not a misprint) while stationed in Panama.  Great experience.  Got my beads three years later.  In 1980 I assisted in a course and got my 3rd bead.  Another great experience.  I'm sure the course has changed somewhat over the years but you're going to enjoy the ride.

Great week!

I was in the Beaver Patrol.

I've got some thoughts I'm going to post about leadership once I get myself situated again.

Beaver!  The onlything worse than a beaver are the Bobwhites!  ;D

So have you finished you ticket yet?  >:D

I'd say that beavers beat owls and antelope as well in the coolness factor.  :D

We had a very cool patrol. We pretty much dominated everything (games and such). AND we performed the ONLY flag ceremony that wasn't sloppy and embarassing (helps to have several people with some sort of military background).

Yeah, it's going to take a little while to work my ticket...

This past weekend two of my friends got thier beads. The ticket can take quite a long time.
