Yesterday a significant storm cell worked its way through Iowa.  A This storm spawned a tornado which is estimated to have grown to over a mile in width.  THis funnel left a swath of destruction over 30 miles long.

The State EOC has been activated, local, and state emergency response teams have worked tirelessly, and done phenomenal work over the past two operational periods.

CAP was tasked with flying aerial re con after the storm.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of this storm, especially the 7 killed in the storm.
