A heads up to everyone that the Perseid meteor shower is almost upon us this year.

I'll certainly be out taking look. It will be peaking during the nights of the 11th-14th of August. Spread the word to your units!

I'm going to be on the northern shore of Prince Edward Island on those dates. That should provide a good view to the northeast sky; we've been looking forward to the show.

I saw a bunch the other night.  Clouds were interfering, though.   >:(

Awesome show Thursday night! Not a cloud in the sky; we stretched out in a field and just had to look up. Cloudy last night, didn't see anything.

DC

I went out last night for the better part of an hour and saw a grand total of two. Not a cloud in the sky, I had a wonderful view of the stars... Just none of the shooting variety.

SarDragon

Didn't get out last night. Saw all of two the night before. Pretty disappointing.

I was lucky to watch it on the night of the 12th at 34,000' from a cockpit window for six hours!
