My son brought home a cub scout project the other night to make a paracord bracelet, and I remembered that I've been
intending to make a watchband for eons.

Mine's got a buckle with a integrated whistle, which is cool, though I think a buckle with a slight
curve would be a bit more comfortable.
Here's the instructions I used, but there's 100 more variations on the weave technique.

Every GTM has paracord, and most wear a watch - making this would be a nice way to kill 30 minutes in the field while
waiting for a tasking or around the campfire.

^ Those things are awesome!  ;D I make paracord bracelets, ID/key lanyards and key fobs as a business venture. Never made a watchband, though. I'll try to get a Facebook link up soon if anyone's interested.

I make paracord bracelets all the time, plus I wear one 24/7 (I wore it too long and the loop shrank :-[) I make one for every member of my unit for free when they earn their GT badge. Kind of a motivational, espirt de corps type thing. It would be cool to make one with a watch on it. I recently read an article about a soldier who lost his arm overseas had a braclete made so he could still wear his wedding band.  :'(
